Execs prepare for Apple-FBI privacy aftermath; the hype and payoff of 3D printing

Just because a new technology arrives that is better than previous technologies doesn't mean that everyone will move all at once.

Businesses replace their applications when they need to upgrade. When that happens they'll see what is on the market and make a choice.

Most businesses replace their CRM systems every four or five years, when that happens they'll look around, see the advantages of cloud and purchase a cloud solution.

People that installed an expensive in-house CRM system two years ago are unlikely to change today.
